James is a Public Health Scientist working in the World Health Organization Collaborating Centre on Investment for Health and Well-being. He has worked as an analyst in Public Health Wales since 2014 where his work has had both a strategic and population health focus. James has a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry and has obtained the Master of Public Health qualification, both from Cardiff University. James completed a dissertation looking at the association between physical activity and mental well-being in the Welsh adult population where he applied quantitative research methods to a nationally representative survey sample. Currently, James provides leadership and practical application of complex data analysis and modelling across different public health and health equity programmes across the life course, both nationally and internationally. He works closely with the WHO European Office for Investment for Health and Development in Venice, Italy (the Venice Office).
